British Council. UKMX identity.

Hosted by the British Council, UKMX is a year-long festival between the UK and Mexico. The programme features cultural, trade and academic events to celebrate their heritage and foster new relationships.

We created the identity - championed by a bespoke typeface - for the festival. The identity unites British typographic heritage with Mayan design elements, and has the flexibility to be used in both the Spanish and English language.

I was project manager for the project, connecting between various stakeholders at British Council and the studio’s design team.
